Overview
Blackboard is a web-based learning management system (LMS) used by Bellevue University to deliver your course content, manage assignments, and facilitate communication between you and your instructors. It provides a centralized platform where you can access course materials, submit your work, view grades, participate in discussions, and track your learning progress.
Bellevue University is transitioning from Blackboard Original to Blackboard Ultra. During this period, you may have courses on both platforms. The following video explains how to identify whether you are in Original or Ultra and highlights the key navigation differences.
How to Access Blackboard
1. Go to Bruin Connect.
2. On the Bruin Connect window, enter your username (Student ID number) and Bruin Connect password, then select Sign In.
3. Complete the login using the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) method you selected when setting up your Bruin Connect account.
4. Select Blackboard to enter the platform.
Note: If you encounter a Blackboard sign-on error:
● Sign out of Bruin Connect by selecting the dropdown menu in the upper-right corner and choosing Sign out.
