Bellevue University Career Services hosts virtual career fairs and recruiting events throughout the academic year, connecting employers with current students and alumni seeking internships, part-time employment, and full-time career opportunities.

All career fairs are hosted through Handshake. Specific event dates, registration links, and deadlines are published on the Career Fair webpage as they become available.

To participate in Bellevue University Career Services events, employers must maintain an active Handshake account and ensure notifications are enabled to receive important updates.

Registration Fees
  • For-Profit Organizations: $75
  • Non-Profit, Government, Education Organizations: $35
Corporate Learning Solutions Partners

Special registration pricing may be available for Bellevue University Corporate Learning Solutions (CLS) partners. Please contact your Bellevue University Account Manager or Relationship Manager for additional information.

Registration Process

Employer registration is managed through Handshake. Only credit card payments are accepted. If this is an issue, please contact Career Services before registering.

To register:
  1. Log in to your Handshake employer account.
  2. Select “Fairs” from the left navigation menu.
  3. Search for Bellevue University.
  4. Select the desired Career Fair or Industry Day event.
  5. Click Register and complete the registration form.
  6. Submit your registration(s) for review.

You will know your registration has been successfully submitted when you see “Registered” instead of “Register” on the event page. Select “Registered” at any time to view your registration details and communicate with Career Services through the comments section.

Career Services reviews all employer registrations before approval.

Once approved, employers will receive additional information regarding payment, scheduling, and event preparation.

Payment Information
  • Payment is due upon receipt of the registration invoice.
  • Career Services only accepts credit card payments through the invoice payment link.
  • Employers with payment concerns should contact Career Services prior to registration.
Creating Your Schedule

After registration approval and payment, employers may create their event schedule in Handshake.

Employers may host:

  • Group sessions
  • One-on-one sessions
  • A combination of both

Only the designated Schedule Owner can create the initial schedule.

For assistance managing schedules or assigning a new Schedule Owner, please refer to Handshake’s employer support resources.

Communication Details

Career fair information is communicated through Handshake. All employer representatives attending an event should verify that email notifications are enabled within Handshake.

Increase Student Engagement

To maximize participation:

  • Post current opportunities.
  • Message students through Handshake.
  • Promote your attendance on social media channels.
  • Ensure your company profile is complete and up to date.

Students often begin researching employers several weeks before an event. An active Handshake presence increases visibility and engagement.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Requests for registration cancellation must be made in writing to Career Services.

Please Include:

  • Event Title
  • Organization Name
  • Contact Name
  • Invoice #
  • Reason for cancellation

A confirmation of the cancellation will be provided upon receiving the written request.

Refund Policy
  • Refund requests received at least 14 calendar days before the event are eligible for a refund less a $25 administrative fee.
  • Refund requests received after the deadline are not eligible for a refund.
  • Employers remain responsible for outstanding registration fees after the refund deadline.
  • Participation in future Career Services events may be contingent upon payment of outstanding balances.
