Grammarly Overview

Grammarly is a digital writing assistant that provides real-time feedback as you write in various applications and platforms. Grammarly uses generative AI components, so please review the Student Guide to AI. Grammarly is available to students, faculty, and staff.

How to Access Grammarly

Follow the steps below to access Grammarly.

1 - Go to https://bruinconnect.bellevue.edu.
2 - Enter your Student ID number as username and your Bruin Connect password, then select Sign In.
3 - Complete the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) process using the method you selected during your Bruin Connect account setup.
4 - Select "Grammarly."

NOTE: Once you select “Grammarly” you will be taken briefly to a Grammarly login screen; however, you do not need to select or type anything as after a moment you will be automatically signed in. If you encounter problems, contact Bruin Support Services.

Grammarly Resources

Once you have accessed your account, select Docs to use the Grammarly Editor or select Apps to install a browser extension or desktop app. Grammarly provides real-time writing suggestions on clarity, tone, word choice, and more.
