How does it work?

You’ll complete two courses in Management of Supply Chain Operations and Advanced Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. These skills-based courses are essential in-demand skills that can be a start to an advanced-level education program at Bellevue University.

Upon completion of the two courses, a digital badge will be issued to all individuals who successfully complete each course with a grade of a C- or above. After successfully completing both courses, with a minimum GPA of 2.0, individuals will be issued a digital certificate of completion. The credentials will signify a new level of qualification for those individuals who successfully complete each class and the program.

Courses are intended to be taken consecutively, allowing you to complete the certificate of completion in under 8 months.

What to expect...

Course #1: Management of Supply Chain Operations

You will develop knowledge of supply chain management and its interactions with business functions and processes. You can apply this knowledge within an organizational setting and be able to analyze problems to create value for customers, markets, and society. Emphasis of the course is placed on developing effective strategic decision-making and communication skills.

Course #2: Advanced Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Lean Six Sigma applies the quantitative Six Sigma quality management techniques within a Lean Enterprise. In this course, you’ll build on the fundamentals of Lean and Six Sigma and utilize important tools and strategies to improve the performance of business processes. You will practice solving business problems and improving processes through case studies, team exercises and simulations, and self-assessments. Topics covered will include Six Sigma improvement methodology and tools, lean manufacturing tools and approaches, dashboards, hypotheses testing, and other business improvement techniques.

These are master’s degree-level courses from Bellevue University’s Supply Chain Management program. A bachelor’s degree is required to enroll within these courses. Each course and the final certificate of completion is credentialed.

You will have completed the first two courses within the Master of Science of Supply Chain Management program. To continue pursuing this master’s degree at Bellevue, you’ll need to apply here for the program.
