Operations and Performance Management degree courses

This course focuses on ways to optimize business operations by examining the impact of factors like environment, organization, technology, and leadership. Students will learn about technologies and tools used in operations management, risk management, and continuous improvement strategies for operational excellence. Upon completion of the course, students will be equipped to apply the skills they have acquired to enhance their workplace's operations. Prerequisite: Enrollment in the Business Management and Leadership (BML) academic program or enrollment in the Leadership Essentials Certificate of Completion program.

This comprehensive course integrates key aspects of talent management and performance improvement. Students will explore the entire employee lifecycle from talent acquisition through development and performance optimization. Topics include recruitment strategies, onboarding processes, performance appraisals, coaching methodologies, reward systems, and data-driven performance metrics. Special emphasis is placed on coaching as a critical tool for employee development and performance enhancement. Students will learn to align talent management with organizational goals while ensuring compliance with labor laws. Upon completion, students will possess the knowledge and tools needed to effectively manage talent, support employee development through coaching, and drive organizational performance.
