

Bellevue University DBA Graduate Leads Milestone International Journal Issue

Bellevue University’s Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program continues to demonstrate its strength in applied scholarship through the accomplishments of its graduates. Most recently, DBA graduate Dr. Tanea Young authored the lead article in the 10th edition of the Journal for Excellence in Business and Education, a milestone issue that brings together international research at the intersection of business, leadership and education.
Dr. Young’s article, “African American Women in Corporate Leadership Roles: Creating a Leadership Shadow,” examines the lived experiences of African American women in corporate leadership positions. Through qualitative research, she explores the themes, competencies, and organizational dynamics that influence advancement, visibility, and leadership impact. The study contributes meaningful insight to ongoing conversations about leadership development, equity, and organizational culture.
