I was receiving the Nebraska Career Scholarship at another Nebraska institution. If I transfer to Bellevue University, will I lose the scholarship?
Transfers who come into Bellevue University that had been receiving the Nebraska Career Scholarship at another institution may be awarded at our discretion as long as their eligibility is still met.
What if I drop out or stop out of the program?
Students who drop out or stop out from an eligible program can no longer receive the funding in the following term. Talk to your Student Coach to discuss what options are available to you.
I’ve heard that internship or work experience is no longer required for the Nebraska Career Scholarship. Do I still have to complete it?
The internship or work experience requirement has been removed as of Fall 2025. If you’re continuing your degree in the 2025/2026 academic year, you no longer need to complete this requirement to maintain your scholarship. However, if you completed your degree during the 2024/2025 academic year, the requirement was still in effect and must have been completed and documented through the submission of the Attestation Form. If it wasn’t, your scholarship funding may have been recovered.
