CLEP and DSST testing
Earn college credit for what you already know and accelerate your degree path.
CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) and DSST (DANTES Subject Standardized Tests) give you the opportunity to earn college credit for what you already know — saving both time and money as you work toward your degree.
These nationally recognized exams are accepted by more than 2,000 colleges and universities, including Bellevue University. They measure knowledge gained through independent study, work experience, professional training, military service, or personal learning.
Each exam is created and reviewed by college faculty to reflect material taught in lower-level college courses. The College Board administers CLEP, while Prometric manages DSST exams.

We highly recommend students check with their student coach, advisor, or registrar of their chosen university prior to taking CLEP or DSST exams to ensure the exam will meet the institution’s degree requirements.
