Academic Honesty
Bellevue University is committed to academic excellence. We believe academic honesty from all Test Center customers is essential in achieving that objective.
We consider the following to be academically dishonest:
- Not adhering to the guidelines established by the instructor for a particular exam.
- Representing the work of others to be one’s own.
- Facilitating the dishonesty of others.
- Copying from another person’s test.
- Using unauthorized materials.
- Taking an examination for another or permitting another to take an exam for you.
- Obtaining or providing test answers to another.
- Removing or attempting to remove a test, any portion of it, or its answers from the Testing Center.
Students may wear hooded sweatshirts or hooded shirts while testing; however, hoods must remain down at all times. Test Center staff may request that students briefly show that the hood and pockets are empty prior to testing.
Consistent with Bellevue University’s Academic Honor Code, individuals suspected of engaging in academic dishonesty will be referred to the Dean of Students. Pearson, CLEP, and DSST customers will be reported to the appropriate examination agency.
Bring valid identification.
You must present an official (government-issued) I.D. which includes a picture, birth date, and signature. A driver’s license, a passport, or a military ID is generally accepted.
You will not be allowed to take a test without proper identification.
