welcome StraighterLine students

Bellevue University and our academic partner, StraighterLine, work together to create a seamless transfer of course credit you've already earned toward our programs. Bellevue University has an open transfer credit policy, so you won't have to repeat courses you've already taken. And, we'll help you to complete any general education requirements that you haven't already met.

how does it work?

No major? No problem. You may not be ready to choose a college major, and that’s okay. Bellevue University offers an online Associate of Science degree in multidisciplinary studies designed to help you keep moving forward while you explore what truly interests you.

If you’ve already been taking classes through StraighterLine, you’re not starting over. The classes you’ve been working on can be transferred into this program. Bellevue has built customized pathways that intentionally combine your StraighterLine courses with Bellevue classes, resulting in certificates of completion along the way. Students can choose from two focused pathways, Business or Information Technology. Each pathway is designed to build relevant, in-demand skills while keeping you on track toward your associate degree.

These certificates are stackable and count toward your associate degree. Each one is a credential you can share with employers to show your progress, the skills you’ve earned, and the value you’re building step by step. It’s a flexible, practical approach that helps you gain skills you can use right away while still moving confidently toward your degree.

how much does it cost?

To help you achieve your goals of continuing your education, Bellevue University offers up to $3,500 per year for all StraighterLine Students.

We understand that continuing your education can be a hurdle to starting college courses. Even though Bellevue University is an affordable private university option, we recognize that help navigating the financial side of college is often welcomed. To start, we strongly encourage you to explore your employer’s tuition assistance options or personal financing options.

If you are looking to learn more, reach out to our Admissions team today to see if there are other funding options available.
