If you are looking for a traditional learning experience in a physical classroom, Bellevue University offers a wide variety of in-person classes at our main campus in Bellevue, Nebraska. You may be able to attend your classes closer to home in person at a satellite location. Talk to your admissions counselor about options.
As a Bellevue University student learning on campus, you'll benefit from small class sizes where you can have valuable face time with our invested, expert professors. You'll also have ample opportunity to collaborate in meaningful ways with your classmates and receive hands-on experience through in-class activities, labs, and more.
Classes on campus are held between Monday through Thursday, with many courses taking place after standard workday hours. We do not hold classes on Fridays or weekends, so you can more easily balance your schoolwork and other life obligations or enjoy our vibrant on-campus community, athletic events, and student organizations.
Bellevue University offers a wide variety of classes, both on a traditional course schedule and on a cohort schedule, at our main campus and online. A traditional course schedule is formatted so you decide when or how often to schedule classes during our 4 terms — fall, winter, spring and summer — and courses may be offered on campus or online, at set times or anytime online. For our on-campus class availability, go to the dynamic Class Schedule and search for the classes you want, in the format you want, or log into your Bruin student portal if you are an enrolled student. Contact our enrollment counselors for more information about learning format options at .
How long to complete a Bachelor's degree:
A: For undergraduate students enrolled full-time, a bachelor's degree typically takes four years to complete if attending full-time at a pace of 11-12 credit hours each term, for three terms per academic year. Part-time students will take longer. A bachelor's degree usually requires 120-127 credit hours of coursework, depending on the field of study. However, at Bellevue University, you can maximize your transfer credits, potentially reducing the time and cost needed to earn your degree. If you've completed prior college coursework, military training, or professional certifications, you may be able to apply those credits toward your degree. Contact us to have your credits evaluated.
How long to complete a Master's degree:
A: Most students complete a master's degree in 2-3 years, depending on several factors, including how many credits you take per term and how many are required (part-time students will take longer). For full-time students enrolled at a pace of 2 courses per term (3 terms per academic year), it is possible to finish in 6 terms or about 2 years if you are continuously enrolled and progress according to the degree plan.
