A transcript can be emailed securely to busrtranscripts@bellevue.edu or by mail. It is required to be sent directly from the issuing institution to Bellevue University’s Office of the Registrar to be considered an official document. Please check with previous institution for available sending options.
Final determination of transfer credit acceptance is made by the Registrar’s Office.

If you have already earned an associate degree from an accredited institution then all those credits will be accepted. Credits earned may fulfill our General Education Core Curriculum requirements for a traditional or accelerated bachelor degree program offered on campus or online.
If you have an associate degree 60 college credit hours, your credit can be applied toward an accelerated bachelor’s degree. Complete your degree in less time when you apply your previous credits and experience. Accelerated degrees are offered in-class or online, many of them in the cohort format.
If you have fewer than 60 credits – we have many ways you can earn credit beyond the classroom, including credit for training on the job or in the military.
If you are transferring college credit to Bellevue University and have not obtained an associate degree, talk to us. Bellevue University has an open transfer credit policy, so you won’t have to repeat the courses you have already taken. We’ll help you to complete any general education requirements that you haven’t already met.
If you’re transferring to Bellevue University with a bachelor’s degree, you will only need to complete your major-specific courses.
