Dr. Johnston has extensive experience in university-level teaching in Human Sciences, combined with curriculum development and research project management as a postdoctoral scholar. Her professional background also includes working in residential and intensive outpatient mental health settings, where she supported clients’ cognitive, social, and emotional development using evidence-based practices. She integrates research insights into both classroom and clinical environments, fostering growth, critical thinking, and real-world application for students and clients alike.
