Dr. April L. Jones, LMSW, is a social work scholar, educator, organizational psychologist, and instructional design specialist with extensive leadership experience in higher education, research, and community engagement. She has served as a tenured Associate Professor and Department Chair of Social Work at Tuskegee University and currently holds a leadership role at Bellevue University supporting the development of an online MSW program and field education system. Her work integrates social work practice, organizational psychology, and instructional design to advance innovative approaches to social work education, including AI-enhanced learning tools, simulations, and digital practice platforms. Dr. Jones has led program development, accreditation initiatives, research collaborations, and community partnerships focused on mental health, equity, and workforce development. She is also the founder of Visionary Consulting Services, LLC, which provides AI-driven solutions, program design, and strategic consulting for higher education and human service organizations.
