Student Login Information
Your Login Credentials are required to access Cyberactive, BRUIN, and BRUIN Mail.
Student Login Credentials:
- for "username" - use your student ID number which can typically be found on an ID card or a statement.
- for "password" – please Create Your Password upon initial use. If you have previously logged in and already updated your password, use your updated password.
All passwords must meet the below criteria. Password changes are required every 90 days:
- 8 – 32 characters
- At least one upper-case AND at least one lower-case alpha character (Aa – Zz)
- At least one numeric character (0 – 9)
- At least one special character
- May not include your FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, nor any three consecutive characters of the same
- May not include your USERNAME
- You may change your password once per day, but no more than once per day
- You may not use your previous four passwords
You are responsible for protecting your password and should protect it like any other asset. Creating a strong password now could save you extra work later.

Bellevue University students are assigned a university sponsored (BRUIN Mail) student email account. Official Bellevue University electronic correspondence will be sent to your BRUIN Mail account.
If you are taking an online class, your student email address will be used in the Online Classroom setting.
Email Forwarding
If you do not want to check your new BRUIN Mail account separately, you can login and adjust your settings so that all email traffic sent to your BRUIN Mail account will automatically be forwarded to an email account of your choosing. If you change your forwarding email address, please remember to update your forwarding email address in the BRUIN Mail system so that you will not miss any important information that may be waiting for you in your university student email account.
