UCR is a program of the FBI and provide official crime counts for the United States since 1930. It is based on data voluntarily submitted by law enforcement agencies throughout the country and provides a nationwide view of crime.

Foreign Languages Videos
Foreign Language Video Instruction is a collection of video clips in which native speakers elaborate on a wide variety of topics about their culture, family, daily life, and more. Each video clip is accompanied by a description of its contents, the country of the speaker, and additional grammar and vocabulary notes. These videos are produced by the ViewPoints Project of the Five Colleges of Ohio consortium.

Vimeo Video School
Part of the larger Vimeo video sharing site; this "school" teaches people how to make better videos, from choosing a camera on through editing systems. The site is organized into Lessons, containing both text and graphics, in four categories. There are also video tutorials submitted by Vimeo users.

Current Population Survey
A monthly survey of about 50,000 households conducted for over 50 years by the Bureau of the Census for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Data includes employment, unemployment and other labor stats, available for a variety of demographic indicators such as age, race and educational attainment.
General Social Survey (GSS)
The General Social Survey (GSS) conducts basic scientific research on the structure and development of American society, monitoring societal trends within the United States, and comparing it to other nations. Funded by National Science Foundation and headquartered at the University of Chicago.
