Career Avenues
Career Avenues is a comprehensive offering of resources and services to help students blend their classroom education with their career aspirations. Through this innovative initiative, the Career Coaching Center supports Academic Advising to offer a variety of programs, activities, and services to help students and alumni who are unsure of what career or academic major to pursue, are considering a career change, or are seeking that "right" job.
The Career Coaching Center publishes a blog to assist you in your career planning and job search. The topics discussed on the blog are relevant in today's working enviroment. Individual career coaching is available, along with up-to-date job listings, and the career library offers a wealth of career-related information, articles, and resources. In addition, the Career Coaching Center brings employers and students or alumni together through its annual career fair, on-campus recruiting programs and an online recruiting system, offered in partnership with NACELink and the Nebraska College Recruiting Consortium (NCRC).
The Internship Specialist located within the Career Coaching Center can assist students and alumni in identifying and applying for internship or other volunteer opportunities to enhance and strengthen their academic programs.
