Great Plains National Security Education Consortium

Bellevue University is a partner in the Great Plains National Security Education Consortium, part of the Intelligence Community Centers of Academic Excellence program. In the 2009-2010 academic year only 31 Universities nationwide were chosen to participate.

One central goal of the consortium is to develop students who have the knowledge of international and cultural issues, proficiency in foreign languages and skills in research, analysis and critical thinking, required of professionals employed in the 16 federal agencies that make up the U.S. intelligence community.

The IC (Intelligence Community) Scholar program is an element of the consortium that encompasses the skills and experience to stand out as a candidate for employment in this competitive field.
