Meet Admissions Counselor Kamala Fuller
Kamala Fuller has been a Bellevue University Admissions Counselor for more than two years. She takes pride in being the first contact for prospective students inquiring about Bellevue University. "I enjoy leading students to new educational experiences, and I find great joy in seeing the changes that occur once students start taking classes. I often stay in touch with the students I advise. In fact, at the June 2007 graduation, I met Lorenzy Cosey and his family for the first time after advising him since he enrolled. It felt like we were childhood friends. Even after my part as his Admissions Counselor was over, if he had questions he called and I would direct him to the right department.
"Most people who call us want to know if their credits will transfer. Some think since they haven't been in school for a number of years that their credits will not be considered at Bellevue University, but that's not the case. In fact, one of my jobs is to help ensure that the students' credits are transferred in a timely manner.
"I listen to each individual student's concerns, and educational and career goals. I let them know they are not alone in their fears and doubts about going back to school. I assure the students that I am here to assist them in the admissions process.
"Everyone in the Admissions department goes the extra mile to assist students in reaching their goals. We are all excited about helping students take the steps to changing their lives through education. And, Bellevue University has a tradition of taking extra time to work with our adult students before and after enrollment.
"People inquire at Bellevue University because they want to earn their degrees and reach their life goals. We're here to help them get on track and assure them they can do it. That's what we love to do."
