New Bookstore to Double Space,
Include Mural Art Studio

Thanks to the generosity of the Hollis and Helen Baright Foundation and Follett Corporation, Bellevue University's new Baright Bookstore will open early next year. The 6,700 square-foot building will provide nearly twice the usable space as the current bookstore. Phase I, which includes a mural art studio, is slated to open in January. The main portion of the building will open for business in March 2008.

The new bookstore will support both in-class and online student textbook purchases. Due to double-digit enrollment growth each year for the past decade, the current bookstore facility – which was the former campus maintenance and storage facility – is no longer sufficient to meet demands.
