"I had been working for Cricket for five years," Sam said from his new office in San Diego. "And I was close to earning my degree, but for some reason I always put it off." Sam realized longevity in the telecommunications industry and a good reputation within the company wasn't enough to get him a promotion. So he turned to Bellevue University, where he could complete his degree in 15 months, and where they would give him credit for the learning he acquired while serving in the Air Force for six years. At Bellevue University he completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management.

Sam said a co-worker talked about getting his degree too, but didn't until he watched Sam walk across the stage at commencement. "When I got my degree he was kicking himself for not going back to school at the same time as I did. Well, he's enrolled at Bellevue University now."
