Congratulations to Kelly Downs –
Winner of the Best Degree of You Career Makeover Contest.

For receiving the most votes in the Career Makeover Contest, Kelly Downs won a scholarship to Bellevue University and a new car.

In order to publicize the life- and career-changing impact of a college degree, Bellevue University recently held its second annual Best Degree of You Career Makeover Contest. Hundreds entered, writing essays about how a college education would change their lives, and vying for the opportunity to win a full tuition scholarship to Bellevue University.

Winner Kelly Downs is representative of many of the adult students who have chosen Bellevue University to advance their careers. A working mother of two who had started and "stopped out" of college repeatedly, Kelly has witnessed firsthand in the business world the difference a degree can make – and how necessary it is for promotion.

	Bill Rancic, best-selling author and the first winner of TV's The Apprentice, served as emcee at the Career Makeover Winner Announcement on May 25 at Bellevue University.

Kelly appreciates the fact that she'll be able to keep up at work and at home while pursuing her CIS degree. "My young daughters are impressed," Kelly laughs. "I'm going to use this accomplishment as my personal teaching tool to show them the importance of getting an education."
