Just because you’re taking your class online, doesn’t mean you don’t interact with others taking the class. At Bellevue University there is an open discussion board and forum that will give you numerous opportunities to share thoughts, ideas, and what you’re learning. Our students tell us time after time that they form a real bond with their online classmates. Whether it’s a night out or a relaxing evening at home, setting up a reward system is important. After you enroll put “landmarks” on a calendar, such as a mark every four weeks. When you hit a landmark, go out for ice cream with your family or a favorite friend – someone supportive of your education and career goals. Hold off on buying that little something you’ve been eyeing until you reach the next landmark. Before you know it, 15 months will go by and you’ll have met your goal, motivated every step of the way!
