How do you be you?

Bellevue University alum Kelly Sylte

Students come to Bellevue University with earned credit from a variety of sources – the traditional college classroom, online courses, corporate and military training, and more. Our goal is to acknowledge the learning achieved, and help our students go forward without repeating courses, duplicating effort, and spending more than they have to.

What’s your story?
What will your starting point be?

The best way to know where you’ll start is to tell us where you’ve been. You may be further along in completing your degree than you know. Tell us where you want to go. We’ll give you credit for what you know, and help you get started on a degree program designed to reach your goal.

This is what happened for alum Kelly Sylte. Here’s her story and her advice. Join her!

When Kelly Sylte came to Bellevue University, she had earned 113 credit hours through her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and additional hours from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College. “The Bellevue University degree completion program attracted me, and the accreditation meant a lot. I did all the degree work online, parlaying my associate’s degree credit into a bachelor’s degree,” Kelly said.

She enrolled in Bellevue University’s accelerated bachelor’s degree completion program and over the course of 15 months completed her core curriculum requirements of 36 semester hours, and the 9-hour Kirkpatrick Signature Series.

“The bachelor’s degree was an accelerated program and I really enjoyed that. I could focus on one class at a time and then just keep rolling one class, then another, and another,” Kelly said.

Kelly was so impressed with her bachelor’s degree experience at Bellevue University that she returned to earn her Master of Arts in Leadership degree. Kelly traveled to Bellevue University’s recent graduation ceremony to receive her diploma. “Bellevue University helped me prepare for a better future. I recommend it to anyone who wants to be more. Don’t wait another day. Do not wait another day to enroll.”
