This is what happened for alum Kelly Sylte. Here’s her story and her advice. Join her!

When Kelly Sylte came to Bellevue University, she had earned 113 credit hours through her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and additional hours from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College. “The Bellevue University degree completion program attracted me, and the accreditation meant a lot. I did all the degree work online, parlaying my associate’s degree credit into a bachelor’s degree,” Kelly said.

She enrolled in Bellevue University’s accelerated bachelor’s degree completion program and over the course of 15 months completed her core curriculum requirements of 36 semester hours, and the 9-hour Kirkpatrick Signature Series.

“The bachelor’s degree was an accelerated program and I really enjoyed that. I could focus on one class at a time and then just keep rolling one class, then another, and another,” Kelly said.

Kelly was so impressed with her bachelor’s degree experience at Bellevue University that she returned to earn her Master of Arts in Leadership degree. Kelly traveled to Bellevue University’s recent graduation ceremony to receive her diploma. “Bellevue University helped me prepare for a better future. I recommend it to anyone who wants to be more. Don’t wait another day. Do not wait another day to enroll.”

Kelly enrolled in the accelerated degree completion program to complete the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration of Technical Studies (BATS). Upon enrollment, Bellevue University accepted all of Kelly’s Associate of Applied Science Degree from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (WITC) for: 60 credit hours Bellevue University also awarded Kelly credits for electives taken at WITC for: 22 credit hours To complete her bachelor’s degree at Bellevue University, Kelly took these BATS Major Requirement courses: BATC 306 Modern Management Skills & Applications 4 credit hours BATC 312 Strategic Planning Capstone Research 1 2 credit hours BATC 321 Managing Information Systems 2 credit hours BATC 332 Marketing & Economic Analysis 5 credit hours BATC 341 Managerial Finance & Accounting 5 credit hours BATC 401 Operations Management 4 credit hours BATC 411 Statistical & Quantitative Methods 6 credit hours BATC 460 Business Ethics & Law 5 credit hours BATC 481 Strategic Plan Project Presentation 3 credit hours Sub-total 36 credit hours Kelly also completed the required Kirkpatrick Signature Series comprised of the following courses: LA 400 American Visions & Values 3 credit hours LA 410 Tradition & Change 3 credit hours LA 420 Freedom & Responsibility 3 credit hours Sub-total 9 credit hours Total credit hours transferred and earned to complete her BATS degree: 127 credit hours
