Security Management Alumni Chosen for Prestigious Internship Program
Four recent alumni from Bellevue University's Security Management Program have excellent career opportunities after they were selected by The Department of Defense to participate in its Palace Acquire Internship Program. This honor reflects on the caliber of the recipients and their studies, as this year only 10 interns were chosen from schools nationwide.
As part of the internship program, they work for three years inside The Department of Defense, rotating through more than 20 different civilian positions. The interns start at an annual salary of around $40,000, with the ability to earn full-time employment at the end of the program.
Only eight schools were chosen to participate in the program, and Bellevue University was selected based on the strength of its undergraduate and graduate Security Management programs. Bellevue University has the largest combined undergraduate-graduate Security Management program in the country.
