Bellevue University Recognized for Strong Military Support
The website allmilitary.com has named Bellevue University the 4th-most "military friendly" school in the country. The complete rankings will be published soon on their website. Bellevue University was founded in 1966 to, in large part, serve the military personnel located at nearby Offutt Air Force Base.
The University now serves more than 1,800 active military personnel, from every branch, with numerous offerings and resources, including: a full-time VA rep on campus; full-time Military Program Director; a Military Department; a chapter of the Student Veterans of America – the only in Nebraska; a military advisory board that includes retired generals and admirals; SOC-compliant degree programs; participation in the Air Force and Marine education web portals; the awarding of credit for military training; and degree programs designed specifically for military personnel, including the country's only certification completion program in Strategic Deterrence.
