2009 Global Festival
The Bellevue University main campus will have an international flare on Saturday, April 25, 2009 as students, alumni, friends and guests celebrate with a Global Festival.
Highlights of the event include:
- A dinner at the Margre H. Durham Student Center catered from local ethnic restaurants at 6 p.m.
- Live entertainment by multicultural performers who want to share their unique cultural heritage with the local community at 7 p.m. at the Criss Auditorium, Hitchcock Humanities Center
A $10 per person admission charge covers the meal and entertainment. The event is free for current Bellevue University students and children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
The event will be part fundraiser, and part awareness-raiser, in recognition of the increasing impact of international students on the campus. More than 400 undergraduate and graduate-level students from around the globe are enrolled, about five percent of the University’s total enrollment.
Proceeds benefit the Bellevue University International Club.
