McGee receives ANCOR Award
Bellevue University's Dr. Monalisa McGee was recently presented with the 2011 Advocacy Award from the ANCOR (American Network of Community Options and Resources). The award recognizes McGee's work advocating for disability legislative issues at the national and state level.
ANCOR is a national trade association that strives to inform and educate service providers to develop and grow their capacity to support the choices of people with disabilities. As a nonprofit organization, ANCOR addresses the needs and interests of private providers before Congress and federal agencies, continually advocating for the role private providers play in enhancing and supporting the lives of people with disabilities and their families.
McGee is the director for both the Master of Science in Clinical Counseling and the Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science programs at Bellevue University.
