Crosston Piece Selected by Journal

Dr. Matthew Crosston has had the piece, "Hard Power in a Soft Package: The 'True' Conservatism of Obama Leadership in Foreign Policy," accepted as is without request for revision from the Journal of Global Analysis. It will appear in the next edition of the journal.

The Journal of Global Analysis, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary, the official journal of the Centre for Strategic Research and Analysis (CESRAN), covers a broad range of topics related to politics, international affairs, human geography, political history and economics. It endeavors to present clear thinking by knowledgeable observers on important issues, written for both professionals and a broad general audience. The Journal's preference is given to elite articles that address and contribute to important disciplinary and interdisciplinary questions and controversies.

CESRAN is a non-partisan, non-profit international think-tank committed to advancing academic research in the field of political science and international relations and providing expertise to decision-makers in the public and private sectors. The underlying motive behind the foundation of CESRAN is the very need to bridge the gap between the students of international relations and practitioners of international politics. In this regard, the main ideal is gathering academics, experts, and policy analysts who differ in their backgrounds and perspectives around CESRAN in order to yield fresh and illuminating insights as to how international relations is carried out in a globalizing world.

Dr. Crosston's piece is one of the few the journal has ever accepted without request for revision.
