International Graduate Admissions
International students must apply for admission to Bellevue University as full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students or graduate students in traditional programs. The United States Department of Homeland Security requires full-time attendance for international students. Accelerated and cohort programs do not meet this requirement. Bellevue University’s International Programs Office is committed to serving international students.
Our graduate programs are built upon a diversity of perspectives. Qualified students from other cultures and countries are encouraged to apply.
International students who have been awarded a bachelor's degree from a U.S. institution of higher education may apply for direct admission into graduate degree programs. International students who have been awarded a bachelor's degree from an institution of higher education in a foreign country may apply for direct admission into graduate degree programs with a WES evaluation. Students must follow general admissions requirements for the specific graduate program.
For your application to be processed, we need to receive the following:
- Completed Application for Admission or Online Application
- $75 Application Fee (non-refundable)
- WES Evaluation (see note below)
- TOEFL Score (see note below)
- Completed Financial Affidavit of Support Form
- Bank Statement Showing Available Funds of Sponsor
- For students transferring from a U.S. institution, a completed International Transfer Student Form
Please note: Documents submitted to Bellevue University will not be returned to the student.
English Language Requirements
TOEFL Score: A TOEFL score of at least 71 (internet-based) or 530 (paper-based) or an IELTS score of at least 5.5 is required in order to begin graduate classes at Bellevue University.
