Severe Economic Hardship

Student must have been enrolled full-time at Bellevue University on an F-1 visa and must have maintained his or her status for the past academic year.
Student must be currently enrolled full-time (except for the summer vacation period).
Student must not be less than full-time the previous semester without previous authorization by a Designated School Official.
Student must apply through the Designated School Official at Bellevue University and through USCIS.
Student must not currently be placed on Academic Warning, Probation or Suspension.
Undergraduate students must have a cumulative minimum GPA of 2.0 and graduate students must have a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0.
Requires an application fee to USCIS.

Application Instructions

Student must have maintained his or her status at Bellevue University for the past academic year.
Student must apply for OPT through the Designated School Official at Bellevue University and through USCIS at the BEGINNING of the student’s last academic session.
Student must apply before the last date of the student’s last classes to be eligible.
Requires an application fee to USCIS.
