Following is an example for conditional formatting: If you want to the cell color to be highlighted red when the number of enrolled students reach maximum, please follow the instructions.

  • Highlight your range of cells - column labeled "Enrolled".
  • On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click the arrow next to Conditional Formatting.
  • Click on Highlight cell rules and then equal to
  • Type 24 with the color of your choice
