Learning Outcomes

With the Bellevue University Bachelor of Science in Nonprofit Management, you will synthesize your goals of making your mark in the nonprofit world with the latest and most-relevant business methodologies to move into a leadership role within this rigorous, yet rewarding field. You’ll learn core principles of the strategic planning process as they apply to the analysis and development of intermediate and long-range planning for a non-governmental nonprofit organization. Financial reporting and monitoring functions are examined through the application of accounting principles particular to the non-profit world. Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Non-profit Management will be able to do the following:

  • Apply optimal managerial practices to maximize the functionality of Boards and volunteers in nonprofit organizations
  • Illustrate the unique legal and regulatory environment bearing upon the accounting, reporting and management practices of nonprofit organizations
