This includes history and philosophy of corrections, research, management principles, strategic fiscal and resource management, risk management, effective system intervention, and an examination of the contemporary issues of concern to corrections professionals. The emphasis is on the integration of theory and practice, as well as synthesis with your professional experience in the field of corrections. This program is offered in class and online. The courses in this cohort program are designed to be taken in order as listed. Their prerequisite is acceptance to the Corrections Administration and Management Accelerated Degree Completion Program.
