Degree Overview

There is a high demand for leaders with a deep understanding of core business skills, enhanced by the ability to solve problems and effectively communicate results and conclusions to a variety of stakeholders including management and customers. This demand spans across many different fields, including management, business operations, marketing, finance, and strategy. Bellevue University’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) is designed specifically for these industries, yet also encourages entrepreneurship. A special focus is placed on responsible capitalism to create value for customers and businesses while ensuring the wellbeing of organizations and their communities. Successful employers and entrepreneurs know that business intelligence requires not only theoretical sensibility, but an understanding of how it can be applied. Bellevue University’s approach is strong in theoretic underpinning, but is concentrated on application and student performance.

Learning Outcomes

When you complete the Master of Business Administration (MBA), you will have developed an important skillset, including economic reasoning, communication, critical thinking and practical problem solving. You will be prepared to act as an influencer and leader of your organization’s efforts as you analyze, design and implement projects. In addition, and to further refine your MBA studies and career objectives, you may choose from one of 18 concentrations, listed under the curriculum tab. Graduates of our MBA will be able to do the following:

  • Use data and graphical tools to make forecasting and quality management decisions, as well as use visual and numerical tools to manage time and cost of projects
  • Diagnose and resolve behavioral and organizational problems related to management functions, individual differences, group and interpersonal conflict, and work/life interface
  • Diagnose and resolve behavioral and organizational problems related to management functions, individual differences, group and interpersonal conflict, and work/life interface
  • Acquire and manage resources to plan and control the transformation of resources into goods and services

Completing your MBA at Bellevue University will prepare you to pursue an MBA certification from one of the following professional organizations: The Project Management Institute, The Society for Human Resource Management, and The American Society of Transportation and Logistics. You will also receive an Executive Coaching Certificate offered by Bellevue University upon completion of an Executive Coaching concentration.
