CLEP/DSST Listing

These tests provide students with the opportunity to earn college credit upon successful completion. We highly recommend you check with your advisor PRIOR to taking a CLEP or DSST test. TO REGISTER & SCHEDULE A TEST:

  • Log on to BRUIN and go to E-Services, then select Test Registration which is under Misc. Student Services.
  • In the box before the Credit Card information section, specify the date, time and location you'd like to test. If we can't accommodate your request, we'll contact you.

FEES: The total fee for each CLEP test is $107.00 and each DSST test is $110.00 as of 1 July, 2010. This includes a $30.00 test administration fee. There is a $10.00 charge for the cancellation of a test. Registrations will remain on file for one (1) year.

SCHEDULING: Tests are administered Monday through Friday at the BU Main Campus Test Center or the Lozier Campus Test Center. Schedules include four (4) Saturday sessions per month. To reschedule a test appointment, please call 402-557-7428.

PREPARATION: Reference Material will provide helpful test information, including sample questions, but is not meant to teach the test title topic. Reference Material is located in the Reserve Section of the Bellevue University Library or may be purchased at the BU Bookstore.

Tests are computer-based and timed. Plan approximately two (2) hours to complete one exam. Results are immediate and do not affect the student's GPA. All tests fulfill lower level credit, except as noted.
