Bellevue University's IMA chapter focuses on leadership, learning and service
Bellevue University's IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) offers students the opportunity to learn more about their career choices outside the classroom, while focusing on leadership and service opportunities.
Professor Monica McElhaney is the faculty sponsor for the group. The Bellevue University chapter meets at least seven times throughout the year. Most of the meetings feature speakers from the accounting profession who offer students a real world perspective on career opportunities.
There is a $15.00 fee for membership, however all accounting students are welcome to attend the meetings even if they are not members. For more information on joining, contact Monica McElhaney.

This recent video features an IRS employee, who describes what it is like to work in her role, her career and educational choices to get there.
