Advising

Academic Advising at Bellevue University is designed to be an ongoing educational partnership dedicated to student academic success. The University is committed to an academic advising system that guides students to discover and pursue life goals, teaches students to become engaged, self-directed learners, competent decision makers and independent, productive and responsible citizens.

It is extremely important that students meet with their advisor on a regular basis, at least once during a term. If you are unable to visit in person, you may contact your advisor by clicking on "List of Advisor" on the left.

Bellevue University is proud to offer advising to all students, regardless of location. For example, your academic advisor could help you:

  • decide what major to pursue
  • with the graduation application process
  • with administrative processes such as registration, developing a degree plan, changing your major, or inquiring about transfer hours
  • understand the value of a degree and opportunities within your career field
  • understand the values, strengths and interests within your academic major/degree program
  • utilize BRUIN and understand the DegreeWorks system

Please contact us with your questions or concerns regarding academic advising.
