Graduate Admission Requirements - International Students
As a diversity of perspectives is one of the strengths upon which our graduate programs are built, qualified students from other cultures and countries are encouraged to apply.
International students, who have been awarded a baccalaureate degree from a U.S. institution of higher education, may apply for direct admission into graduate degree programs. Students must follow general admissions requirements for the specific graduate program. An affidavit of support form with supporting documentation is required. TOEFL test results are required for graduate admission. TOEFL test results are not required of students from select English-speaking countries.

WES EVALUATION REQUIRED OF ALL INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Please note that a WES (World Education Services) evaluation is required of all international students who have studied outside of the United States. All transcripts from non-US educational institutions – high school as well as any post-secondary transcripts – must be sent directly to WES by the issuing institution. This is a requirement before admission can be granted. You will find all the information you need at www.wes.org. You can apply for your evaluation on the WES website, and should apply for the Course-by-Course evaluation if you have completed any university-level coursework. It is critical that you read and follow the "Required Documents " information specific to your country of study to ensure that your evaluation is completed as quickly as possible. If your transcripts and diplomas are in languages other than English, you must provide a translation. Please make sure that Bellevue University is listed as one of the recipients of the WES evaluation. Once all the required documentation has been received by WES, the evaluation usually takes 7 – 10 days.

TOEFL Score (required): A TOEFL score is required of at least 203 (computer-based) or 537 (paper-based). Any scores under 203/537 will require ESL classes as determined by the Director of the ESL Programs.
If you are transferring from a school within the United States, we must also receive a completed transfer form from your current school.
Evaluation
After we receive each of the required documents, we will evaluate your transcripts and notify you of acceptance by sending you an acceptance letter (and I-20 form to F-1 visa applicants). For specific questions concerning your graduate program application, please contact your International Admissions Counselor.
