Workshop for Using the DSM-5
Dr. Jon Kayne, a Professor of Clinical Counseling and Psychology at Bellevue University, will lead this workshop focusing on the transition to the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders - Fifth Edition (DSM-5) from the DSM-IV-TR.
The DSM-5 workshop is aimed at healthcare professionals already familiar with, and adept at, the use of DSM-IV-TR. Participants will learn the criteria for diagnosing and recording mental disorders according to the DSM-5, as well as to develop a familiarity with the key professional issues that drove the updates and changes.
Marriage and family counselors, mental health counselors, nurses, physicians, psychologists, and social workers can earn six contact hours (360 contact minutes) of NBCC Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for online completion of the workshop.
This is an online, self-paced workshop. The fee for this workshop is $160.
For more information, please contact Jonathan Titus, Continuing Education Director or Dr. Michelle Eppler, Dean at firstname.lastname@example.org.
