Health Care Administration (B.S.)

College of Allied Health

The Health Care Administration (H.C.A.) program is offered exclusively online in the accelerated, cohort-based format, concentrating on the knowledge necessary for managing health care services and providing organizational leadership. Emphasis is on integrating organizational systems in a highly regulated environment with the larger health care community, focusing on building community coalitions for the purpose of maintaining health service access, quality, and cost containment.

Health Care Administration (B.S.) (127 credit hours)

There is a limitation of 9 hours in nursing accepted (all non-nursing hours accepted and a max of 9 nursing hours). An additional prerequisite for this major is the course CACT 100 which must be done just prior to the start of the HCA program.
